Terms of Service

These terms apply when you browse oddlysco.com or place an order with Oddly Specific LLC ("Oddly Specific," "we," "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If something here doesn't work for you, please email us before ordering.

Orders and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and sales tax are added on top of the item price and shown on your invoice.
When you check out, we create an invoice in QuickBooks and send you to QuickBooks' secure page to pay it. Your order is confirmed once payment is received.
Items in your checkout are held for you for a short time (about two hours) while you pay. If the invoice isn't paid, the order is cancelled and the items go back on sale.
We may cancel and fully refund an order if an item turns out to be unavailable, priced in error, or we can't deliver to your address.

Custom and personalized orders

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you give us: spelling of names, dates, wording, colors and any other details. We'll make your item to match what you approved, so please check carefully.
You confirm that you have the right to use any text, images, logos or designs you send us, and that they don't infringe anyone else's rights.
We may decline or stop a request that we find offensive, unlawful or that we can't make well. If that happens, we'll refund any payment for that item.
Handmade and personalized items can vary slightly in color, placement and finish, and colors may look different on different screens.

Shipping

We currently ship only within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states and Washington, DC).
Shipping is a flat rate shown at checkout. When your order ships, we email you the carrier and tracking number.
Delivery times are estimates. Carrier delays are outside our control, but if a package is late, lost or arrives damaged, email us and we'll help sort it out.

Returns, cancellations and refunds

Personalized and custom items are made just for you, so we can't accept returns or exchanges because you changed your mind.
If something is wrong. If your item arrives damaged or defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We'll repair it, replace it, or refund you, whichever makes the most sense.
Cancellations. To cancel, email us as soon as you can. We can cancel anything that hasn't been made or shipped yet. Once we've started making a personalized item, we can't cancel it.
Refunds go back to your original payment method. Shipping is not refunded unless the problem was our mistake.

Our content

The photos, text, logo and designs on this site belong to Oddly Specific and may not be copied or reused without our permission. Designs or content you send us for your order stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to make your order.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site, for example by trying to break or overload it, gain access to areas that aren't public, or place orders with someone else's information.

Disclaimers and limits

We do our best to keep this site accurate and available, but it's provided "as is" and we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. An order is covered by the terms in place when you placed it.
